FL WEB HOST ASKED TO DROP 'KILL ALL MUSLIM KIDS' SITE - TOP
(TAMPA, FL, 12/14/06) - The Tampa, Fla., office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Tampa) is calling on an Internet web hosting company in that state to drop a hate site that supports calls to "kill all Muslim kids."
Under the headline, "Love Your Kids? Fear For Their Future? Kill All Muslim Kids!!!!," the website's owner, who lives in the Tampa area, wrote: "Makes sense to me. After all, if Muslims are raising their little crumb-snatching, curtain climbing, ankle biting rug rats to strap on bombs in order to kill us, it is logically correct to assume that in order to stop that from happening we need to kill all Muslim kids. Starting now."

Other entries on the site contain obscene and hate-filled attacks on Islam and Muslims, as well as support for violent actions. One entry states: "It's bad enough some [expletive deleted] in Minnesota elect a Muslim to Congress but the people in Michigan might have done them one better. . .Start sticking [sic] up on guns and ammo. The war will start soon."

In a letter to Boca Raton-based Hostgator.com LLC, CAIR-Tampa Executive Director Ahmed Bedier wrote: "While we respect an individual's right to freedom of speech, we oppose hate-filled speech that calls for violence against innocent people. . .It's clear that [the website is] in violation of your company's 'Terms of Service' agreement which states: '...Any material that, in our judgment, is obscene or threatening is prohibited and will be removed from our servers with or without notice.' The agreement also clearly defines 'hate sites' under 'Examples of unacceptable material.'"
Bedier asked Hostgator to stop hosting the site. He noted that CAIR had raised concerns about the anti-Muslim site at a local forum on hate crimes in November.

Boycott U.S Airways
This is a second incident involving blatant hatred and bias from U.S Airways towards Muslims. See the links below. One woman was detained for 14 hours (mostly airport officials are to blame) but then U.S Airways refused to let her on the flight even after she had cleared security and had an FBI agent with her. The second is removing six imams from the flight in handcuffs for trying to pray.

United Express/SkyWest Airlines are not guiltless as well. They have removed a Muslim father and son from an airplane because their appearance made the flight attendant "uncomfortable"
We need to do some serious boycotting to show these racist airlines that they will pay a heavy financial price for this hatred. I know it may be tempting if we find a convenient flight or cheaper flight on that airline, but remember our Muslim brother and sisters and think of how you would feel if someone did this to you. All these people were ordinary law abiding citizens who paid for their fares like everyone else. They were humiliated and disrespected based on their faith and background. If we dont' unite on this cause, airlines will think they can continue to abuse us with no consequences.

Radio Hoax reveals Suppport for Nazi-like treatment towards Muslims
Straight from the CAIR newsletter. Can't begin to imagine how disturbing this is. what's funny is they don't need to BRAND Muslims. We carry our identity proudly. Simply Ask.
Still, It's finals week and I need to be studying, yet I keep getting sucked in because every headline is more shocking the other................Allah Yahmeena.

WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/27/06) - A parody of anti-Muslim bigotry on a Washington, D.C., radio station drew support for treating American Muslims in a manner similar to how the Jewish community was targeted in Nazi Germany.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said today that the reaction to the parody is a "wake-up call" for religious and political leaders who remain silent on the issue of growing Islamophobia in America.
In his 630 WMAL program on Sunday, November 26, talk show host Jerry Klein seemed to advocate a government program to force all Muslims to wear "identifying markers." He stated: "I'm thinking either it should be an arm band, a crescent moon arm band, or it should be a crescent moon tattoo." (4:00) Klein said: "If it means that we have to round them up and do a tattoo in a place where everybody knows where to find it, then that's what we'll have to do." (11:38)
[The program focused on public reaction to the removal of six Imams, or Islamic religious leaders, from a US Airways flight in Minnesota last week.]
Some callers to the program rejected discriminatory treatment of Muslims, but others supported Klein's statements and even suggested that even more severe measures be taken against American Muslims. "Richard" in Gaithersburg, Md., said: "Not only do you tattoo them in the middle of their foreheads; you round them up and then ship them out of this country, period." (15:58)
"Heath" in Upper Marlboro, Md., said: "I don't think you go far enough. . .you have to set up encampments like they did during World War II like with the Japanese and Germans." (23:50)
Later in the program, Klein revealed that his call for discriminatory actions against Muslims was "baloney." Klein said: "I can't believe any of you, any of you, are sick enough to have agreed for one second with anything that I have said in the last half hour." (25:15)

[IMPORTANT NOTE: Listen to the entire program. Jerry Klein was NOT advocating discriminatory measures against American Muslims. He was actually ridiculing and exposing anti-Muslim bigotry.]
"The public reaction to Mr. Klein's courageous parody should be a wake-up call for American religious and political leaders who remain silent in the face of growing anti-Muslim bigotry in our society," said CAIR Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. "Americans of all faiths must come together to marginalize extremists and to challenge ethnic and religious bigotry."
